stobbie Posted October 3, 2008 Share Posted October 3, 2008 Don't have access to my email right now, so can't email them directly... Does anyone know if the warranty of Ashcroft includes work? If I buy a reconditioned gearbox from them and use their fitting service, can I just return my car to them if it brakes down again within the warranty period, or will I be charged for the fitting of the replacement then? Normally a guarantee covers the part that has a defect and seeing as the labour would not, then usually it would not be included! kane Posted October 4, 2008 Share Posted October 4, 2008 Hi all I'd Just like to add that David Ashcroft has offered to rebuild my Gearbox at cost, as although the box is out of warranty(built March 2006) I've only covered approx 12K.
