MogLite
I believe its fairly common practice in the agriculture world, to add water to the tyres for ballast. Something I want to plan for in the future. It is possible to get an adaptor that goes on to a schrader valve, so you can add water from a hose-pipe ? I've found 'em in the US But obviously getting one in England would be a bunch easier.
honitonhobbit
Bloody hell Andy, how many times do we have to go over this! I blame the beer! Fit a second valve. Directly opposed to the original valve. Remove the valve innards on both valves then attach your cleverly converted hose pipe with tyre inflator doofer, fill with water until it comes out of the second valve and hits you in the face. Replace both valve intenals and fill with about 10psi of air. Tsk tsk - you city boys!

was a nice truck?
I have always ballasted tractor tyres using a common garden hose pipe. 1. remove valve core 2. place hose over valve with valve at the top 3. fit jubilee clip and tighten 4 turn on tap 5 leave until inflated or hose blows off if water comes out of tyre then all is well end level should be approx top of wheel hope this is what you need save your money.!!!!
