disco calla
Hi again On my Disco1 XS it has a sticker running down each side on the lower half of each panel. Like a dotty kind of design. This is looking tired now and is dog eared on the edges. Am I able to remove this without it looking totally shocking? If so what with and how should I remove the old adhesive? Cheers C. BogMonster
Sometimes a hot air gun will take off stickers OK, but the one I think it is, is much heavier material than most vinyl banana republic graphics you see on other vehicles and I've never tried removing those. Methylated spirits and elbow grease usually does the job for glue removal afterwards.
Simon Smith
My pressure wash set to pencil jet removed the long defender stickers from my mates 110. Even the glue Pity he didn't check how it was set before pulling the trigger

FridgeFreezer
Maplins / RS / Farnell / CPC all sell sticker remover aerosol / glue remover. Check it on something inconspicuous first but should do the trick.
pw8757
Sorry to be late in on the act, but just joined the forum. I had to have the sign writing taken off my companies's vans when I rebranded the business. I used Evo Stick glue remover from the local hardware store - B&Q also do it. Saves on elbow grease and doesnt harm paint. PS - take some I.D. - they get precious about selling it if you look under about 40!
