I assume it's to make room at Solihull for the so-called baby LR that maybe slotting in the range below Freelander. the reason the freelander production was moved to halewood was because the workers at lode lane refused to adopt modern working practices, which include not eating on the production line.... they brought it on themselves, and when lode lane shuts forever, the employees will be partly to blame....
