Anderzander
Sadly I missed the last one - and have been pining to come and say hello. Any chance of a get together again?, the last one was now way back in November......... Lakes? Derbyshire again? I recently re read the report from the last trip and a lot of people said 'can't wait for the next one' ...... ? ? ?
GBMUD
You could always 'not' organize one. Chris
Anderzander
I was trying to remember who 'didn't' organise the last one..... I'd be happy to put some time and routes together for the lakes - but I've never done any lanes in Derbyshire, so if folks would like to return there I'd be a chocolate fireguard.... GBMUD
I think you will find the nobody organised the last one. You do not need to know the lanes for whatever area you choose, there is ample knowledge on this forum and with a little thought and research it is easy enough to make sure the lanes are suitable. The lakes was good but given that most members who go on these events seem to be from the south of the country it is a long way to the lake district. ...in eny event, the tourist season is about to start so not an ideal time. Winter is good for that reason. What about Shropshire and the Welsh borders? Perhaps the CRAG guys from this forum could offer some help with suitable lanes or even whole routes? How about another Wiltshire/Salisbury plain forum treasure hunt over the summer? Cheers Chris
headhunter
I too prefer the winter for these sort of trips. Fewer pedestrians about and those that are, tend to be very civilised and generally friendly! Also too much else going on for me over the spring and summer when the lure of the water attracts most of my time and energy sailing/messing about with boats. Summer treasure hunt does sound interesting though. John
Les Henson
How about another Wiltshire/Salisbury plain forum treasure hunt over the summer? It would be great if you or someone else didn't organise another treasure hunt - the last ones were fantastic. Les

Exmoor Beast
We could well fancy a trip to the Plain, I've been threatening to take the Freelander up there since we bought it Will
