FridgeFreezer
There are lots of options, a full digital dash will cost you hundreds though and IMHO many of them look right naff. I run an Acewell gauge which does speed/tacho/odo/fuel/time/trip/warning lights, amazing for the money:

western
or if you want to stay with LR parts read the 'wibbly wobbly speedo' thread in this forum.
FridgeFreezer
Where did you get the Acewell gauge ? Let me google that for you If you're going to phone Acewell UK, ask for Craig and mention FlyingSpanners as he's been very helpful with us. Pete, they have a selection of speedo drive options, I found you can make the S2 fit the side of the LT230 with a bit of friggery but the worm drive seems to turn it too slowly to reliably register a speed. Version 2 will probably involve a Ford VR sensor pointing at the front prop flange. Ibexman - on the dash (which in my case is on the ceiling) although I had the realisation when I'd done it that the thing is submersible anyway and hence I could've mounted it down low
