Door bolt threat and size???

Recommended Posts

remove a hinge to bulkhead and a hinge to door bolt and measure the length, they are as Les said M8x1.25, save yourself some money and pop into your local fastners place, always worth buying a new set of captive nuts for the bulkhead, they are really cheap and there will be at least one that you won't take alive!

Early 90/110 captive nuts aren't metric. For stainless bolts you'll need Td5> captive nuts, which are metric, and generic Torx [yuk] or allen bolts. Eight genuine captive nuts and c/sunk bolts from somewhere like Seascrew will be half the price of a kit.

Thanks,

I think I worked the bolts out to be 5/16 unf in the end because my 90s an older one.

I will replace them with some m8s though.

Thanks again

James
