Mack
Hi Chaps as the title suggests, LR deliveries both types of parts. Specifically is there a downside on getting a remanufacturated transfer case? I know it shouldn`t, but in the real world is it actually a better deal (despite the cost) to get a rather a new part for warranty purposes? thanks M
Jurriaan
My choice would be Ashcroft recon.
LandyManLuke
What do LR charge? I think it's arguable that you'd get a better product and better service from Ashcroft.

Top90
I think many will reccomend Ashcroft. Use a reputable supplier because if they do something silly like forget to torque up the flanges the propshafts bolt to it'll lead to a brown interior as the props come out of the T-Box at 50mph and redecorate the underside of the vehicle. Then the police will also have to stop the traffic so you can limp off the motorway, and they won't be too impressed either.
