plasticbadger
Looks like that new Hummer to me... Well done, busted! The doors, windscreen, roof line, windows, etc are all re-worked Hummer. Although it seems to be a mix of H2 and H4 bits. Wheel arches are rear Jeep Wrangler. There you go then, I think we've worked out where all the bits come from. The challenge is for someone on here to come up with something better!

FridgeFreezer
That magazine has much more content than our uk efforts ?????? That's not hard, Heat Magazine has much better technical content than UK mags Plasticbadger has it right on though, that's one straight outta photoshop and I really doubt LR would have gotten that far down the line without the UK mags wetting their pants over sketches on the back of beermats or drawings found in the bins at solihull for a year or five before anything actually appeared. landmannnn
I didn't see it to start with, but it is a blatant Photoshop mock up, by someone with a middle-of-the-road skill level. I can't at the moment work out what the base picture is, but even that has been chopped around. Have another look and notice the following, in order of obvious: Defender wheels, out of proportion Defender bumper, at slightly the wrong angle Range rover sport lights and grill, squashed to fit D3 mirrors, squashed Side step moulding doesn't blend into or match wheel flares Underside and front skid gaurd doesn't match rest of vehicle in terms of colour or clarity Front door shut line doesn't match up above/below mirror The way the river doen't line up outside / inside the window Then there's some general odd areas, the rear lower corner, the blend from front wheel flare to the panel below the grill, the way the hardtop rolls round the rear corner, the but glass seems to stick out etc. So, in summary, don't get over excited, it's just some bored French guy with some spare time and a hooky copy of photoshop. Not that I spend alot of time checking photoshop renderings for a living..... There is a flaw in your argument: Side step moulding doesn't blend into or match wheel flares pretty much standard lr build quality then Underside and front skid gaurd doesn't match rest of vehicle in terms of colour or clarity if land rover made skid guards this is what they would look like Front door shut line doesn't match up above/below mirror shut lines! Defender doors hardly fit the hole!

Retroanaconda
There's a difference between not fitting in the hole and being geometrically impossible Re. the magazines, I think I'd rather have our 'comics' than a magazine that's making stuff up like this! Unless it's some kind of 'April fools' type thing
