jad
Hi everyone I am replacing my windscreen with a heated one and want to replace the windscreen seal. I have looked online at both replacement and genuine. The genuine are much more expensive (about 3 times). Does anyone have any experience of the OEM ones? Are they any good? Cheers Jad
nicksmelly
I have a britpart windscreen seal from Paddocks on my 90. No problems with it. It was easy to fit, and the right size.

cackshifter
FWIW just got 2 heated screens fitted by Pro-Glaze at Chorley for 185 +VAT each. They are Pilkington screens. Don't know if they were cheapest or not but they were very helpful & it was convenient for me. Need to do the wiring now. Nigel
Litch
Britpart seals are fine. They fit ok, do not leak nor go hard & crack any earlier than genuine ones. I have two heated screens, the Britpart seal on one has been in 6-years and it still in perfect condition and the other one was fitted last year. Both went in without any problems and as I said, neither leak (no sealant used) or needed trimming.
