simonr
I'm looking for some decent quality shocks for the rear of my 110 with 14" travel. I'm not bothered whether they are ring-pin or pin-pin I've tried two sets of Pro-Comp and a set of 'heavy duty' Terrafirma shocks - and all three have quickly let the oil escape through the shaft seal. I wondered about putting Fox Shox on it as I know they are well made but was wondering if there is anything in-between the two in terms of cost. Fox's are about £200 each and ProComp about £40. All three have aspirated the oil while towing which I guess can be a bit punishing. It may be an overheating issue I suppose, but I suspect it's just poor quality seals. landroversforever
OME. Not sure on the travel... but I have the OME N73L +5" shocks and they are great. Turned the boaty front into a nice driving vehicle. Just need to get a pair for the rear now .
Diablo
Again, not sure about the travel, but Bilstein yellows have been given a good 'review' by a mate on another forum who has a very hard working 130.
jericho
Old Man Emu are in between in terms of cost - at almost £100 each. Also in between in terms of quality.
landy andy.
OME or koni's, both great shocks. The koni's are also rebuildable. Andy
