Get it straight - dagnabbit...

Recommended Posts

Okay, I was looking down the length of my 110 and I realised, nothing is straight.

She had a new Chassis on her some time ago and I just can't see that the body was put on properly.

How do I get her straight and true?

Cheers,

Mike

Actually all the new ones I've seen have been pretty straight!

The only way to do it properly is to loosen all the mounting bolts and spend a happy day lining it all up. The way I do it is to set the rear tub in line with the rear crossmember first, then from that your door gaps give you your bulkhead position (which you shim out from the chassis as required) and then the wings go on the front. You've got to get the barrel-side bulge in line all the way down.

Good luck!
