Jimmy Two-Jacks
I am sure I have asked this question before but having looked through my content can't find anything, so sorry if this is repetitive . A little while ago I fitted four non “E” marked led roof lights for forward facing work/ flood lights for off road usage only. They are wired into the cab independent of any of the vehicles lights and have a “tell-tale” illuminated switch to warn when they are on. My question is will these be covered by the MOT inspection. western
Not part of MOT, my front roof work lights have never been tested since fitting 16 years ago,

landroversforever
Mine have never been questioned at MOT. They are switched with the main beams, and have an isolation switch I make sure is off before the test.
Puffernutter
Agreed. Mine have never been questioned. I assume they are classed as auxiliary lights and whilst they may have to meet "construction and use", they are not part of the MoT. davie
got 4 x lites on my roof and no mot bother at all. two can be switched to come on with main beam or not and two only work as front work lights on own switch so tester has never been ever bothered to see if they work.
