SvBeek Posted August 2, 2013 Share Posted August 2, 2013 Me and my family are camping near machynlleth and the starter of my 200tdi defender stopped working. Relay clicks, there is voltage but no crank. Local garage can fix it but not until tuesday. Does any one knows a place near that could do it faster or has a starter in stock? Green Bob Posted August 3, 2013 Share Posted August 3, 2013 Worth putting jump leads straight from battery to starter to see if it's the starter that's had it or just s dodgy connection. Check the earth exists and is tight. Check the relay too, it's just in the fusebox and there's an identical one lives next to it. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
