muddychris300tdi
Hi I was just wondering if any body has made a rear light bar and how they went about it. I'm after one for my disco as there isn't enough room to mount my led lights each side of the rear door on the gutter as they are to wide. Could I extend the legs on a defender light bar to lift it above the door? Any thoughts or ideas would be much appreciated. Chris.
Nigelw
Sorry Chris but not entirely sure what you are referring to as a "light bar"? I assume you mean high level brake light or are you talking about LED lighting bars?
landroversforever
I think he's talking about adapting something like the above to fit the rear of a disco.
PaulMc
A few years ago, someone on eBay was selling these for a Discovery 1 - I haven't seen anything similar since then. .

muddychris300tdi
That's exactly what I'm looking for PaulMC. How have you mounted your lights Mike?
RedLineMike
I'll take a picture in the am, mounted the light on a cb aerial gutter mount
muddychris300tdi
Thanks Mike but that's how I have one at the moment but it sits to high and vulnerable. A bar like pictured would be a bit more secure.
