JeffR
Anyone reasonably local to Northumberland heading to Newbury next weekend? Need a bit dragged up country. Cheers children JeffR
LiftedDisco
What sized bit and do you literally mean 'dragged'? Might be able to get stuff to Towcester if that helps and anyone can help with onward movement...
miketomcat
He means a disco heater from me. Mike
daveturnbull
Or just stick it in a box and send it by courier for less than a tenner.
miketomcat
To be fair I only got it out of the car last night to be able to weigh it. Yes it will be around a £10 be thought it was worth a try on here if not I'll post it to him. Mike
landroversforever
I'm happy to hold onto it after newbury? (I'm about 10-15miles from the sort out) not going up that way myself though.
LiftedDisco
Right-o... I thought you might have meant some horrible scruffy trailer with bald tyres and no lights... If you still need any sort of transport towards the Midlands, then just shout otherwise Parcel Monkey may well be your friend...
JeffR
May amuse you all, the stench of decomposing critter emanating from the Disco heater (ignore the screeching/rattling/vibrating noise) is just f@£$kin unbelievable! God alone knows what has crawled in there to die, Christ it even makes me gag after 25 years of working with raw sewage, my instinct is that I'm gonna find rodent gravy - not a job to look forward to folks, any volunteers? LiftedDisco
Courier job then? Pallet wrap it quickly - should be delightfully ripe by the time it gets North... Maybe think about using a 48 hr service if you want to ensure it's achieved maximum toxicity!
task
I'm going from Derby to Northumberland on Tuesday morning if that helps, so if it can be got to Derby before then I'll take it up with me...
