samthornton1990
Hello all, Recently purchased a D2 Commercial and the radius arm bushes are shagged. Been looking at the Bearmach polybush kit as I've had good experiences with Polybushes in the past. Has anyone had any experience of this kit? Or am I better going to Landy and getting Genuine Standard ones? Or are there any other kits that anyone can suggest? Cheers
Nigelw
Genuine metalastic bushes every time! Look how many miles your originals did!
samthornton1990
From Landrover? Have you got a rough idea on price for all 12? I think they were shot before I got it tbh, only done a 1000 mile in it. Hasn't been looked after I don't think.
landroversforever
Genuine LR ones would get my vote
Boydie
It comes down to this, if its a competition car where you want zero flex but you are happy to change the bushes every two or three events fine, go Poly, if you want long wear and pleasant handling go for the standard metalastic. One thing I would add to that and that is that you ask for the bushes that were/are fitted to Range Rover Classics, these have a double inner metal sleeve and are stiffer and longer lasting than the single sleeve units fitted to the Disco. Interestingly these were fitted to all the Camel Discos - and not the standard bush !
Sheffield
This is of course one of those questions that will never get a definate answer. Some like them, some don't. Some have had success with them, so haven't. Take your pick.

Boydie
cheaper doesn't always pay, it's a hassle removing and replacing them - you will need a hydraulic press - so get genuine and you will not have to replace them any time soon.

Ally V8
If you want cheap and good, and do it without a press; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Landrover-Discovery-2-Front-Panhard-Rod-Bush-Kit-SuperPro-Poly-/251742304770?fits=Car+Make%3ALand+Rover%7CModel%3ADiscovery%7CCars+Year%3A2002%7CPlat_Gen%3AMK+II%7CCars+Type%3A2.5+TD5+4x4&hash=item3a9d02ba02:g:XxYAAOSwpDdVbH85 Ordinary hand tools and a hacksaw will do this, and the Superpro bushes are well respected. Hercu
Hi Sam Seems you have made your decision, I have installed Terrafirma bushes and very happy !!!!
honitonhobbit
Cheapest would be Deflex - they should last 4 to 6 weeks I would either fit OE or SuperPro. They both give you flex - although SP gives you slightly more on some bushes and slightly less on others - they are engineered as a handling package improvement on standard. They are expensive but three years warrantee and 30k miles is good. I fit them to all my vehicles and all my clients vehicles simply because they don't cause issues
