landroversforever
Have you tried taking the drop arm off? They're one of those things that can either come off without any effort of they can put up a right old fight!
miketomcat
You could try some heat on it. The bodge way that sometimes works for the drop arm is to loosen the big nut and go for a drive just bear in mind if that nut falls off the drop arm can fall off to! You will feel play in the steering when it all comes loose. Mike
Cornish Rattler
I know you have a puller but what ever you do don't do what I did and try hammering it off as the box will start leaking from the seals

steve b
Grind it out in one place with a dremel/die grinder /drill with grind stone ? I did one earlier this year that only had the tiniest lip left , it took about an hour of fiddling with various sockets / bits of tube with no success , then got something the right size and as soon as I got pressure on it , it fell out . The heat needs to be on the steering arm . If you have an old CO2 fire extinguisher you can use it to freeze the ring inside the arm . cheers Steveb
