ellebarto
This was by far the most challenging lane of the whole weekend and why it gets its own film. If you never do another lane then you should get to Machynlleth. An awesome stretch covering every kind of terrain you can imagine with a half dozen really tricky sections that will really test you. The stone step and the sleeper axle twist being the one’s most likely to catch you out. I had been panicking about getting back up the stone step having failed so badly last time I did this lane but as it happens all I needed was more power so the TDCi’s bit of on-board electrickery could sort me out. I hope you all enjoy this one as much as I did driving it.

Retroanaconda
Looks a nice tricky drive. Any tips as to where it is? Is it the one through the FC plantation north west of Machynlleth itself?
ellebarto
It's a horseshoe track heading into the forest and yes you could describe it as Northwest of Machynlleth itself.

An ORPA rather than a formal ROW which is why I got confused. James ? Yes?
pat_pending
Led Zep Lane, we called it, you'd have to be a Led Zeppelin fan to know why. It realy never used to be that difficult I'm sure. ellebarto's vids' have prompted me to make a long overdue return to the area in October. Orgasmic Farmer
We drove it only 4 years ago and it was simple. A couple of bog standard 110s drove it without issue in both directions
