After moving the intercooler back a tad towards the engine I started to fit the intercooler hoses trying different ways and settled for fitting the intercooler upside down, course the local motorist's shop didn't have any hose clips in to suit so had to order a box of them and due to the after market intercooler having 60mm inlet and outlets I've had to order 2 x 60mm x 50mm I/D reducer's and should be here in the next 48 hrs ☺️

The minerals in beach sand are different to the minerals in soil or what ever, you can use a land metal detector on a beach and a beach metal detector on land but they will give a lot of falls readings as they both have different sensertivities depending what you are looking for, also beach detectors can work under water aswell which mine will do but most land detectors won't, think that's how I've been told and read up but I could be wrong as I am still a novice at this ☺️

The only thing is the detector I've bought is for beach detecting and won't be much use on land ☹️

Yeah there must be loads of nuts, bolts and washer's I've lost over the years ☺️

Hi guys For when the landy is back on the road and going to the beach doing a bit of metal detecting 😁

Everything I ordered the last week has now arrived, the only thing I had a problem with was the X brake kit as it got lost, possibly sent somewhere else, anyway they sent me another one out A.S.A.P. so as soon as I can send the gearbox off to Syncro gearboxes and get it back then I can fit the X brake kit 😁

Dam, was hoping to send the g/box off to Syncro gearboxes this week but after we emailed them about it they said they wasn't taking anymore jobs on atm as they have too much work on and plan to be ready for taking on more work early Autum, so will have to wait till then ☹️

Yeah atm its on std modular's not sure if they are staying on as I would prefer L.W.B. rims with 7.50s really

Hi guys looking for the part number please for the rubber gromets that hold the rad / intercooler to the frame as I need two. thanks

Not sure really as i've been use to power steering with the last 3 vehicles i've had since my last S2a so half of me want's the original steering and the other half of me want's pas so i mite see how it goes and decide 🙂

Maybe if you cut both the inner stifferner's / cowling off then it mite do, i trimed round where the original rad would have fitted and most of the left stifferner to fit the intercooler

All brackets need painting yet, all nuts and bolts will be replaced with new and i need to trim round the rad panel where i've cut it with a power saw which will be done next weekend 🙂

Been busy Saturday and today moding the new rad panel to fit the new 300tdi rad and intercooler, here's some pic's

Ebay, i've had them before and they are Britpart and they are great think with postage it was £140 or there abouts and well worth it, mines the 120A one
