I'm doing the same thing once the restoration is finished 1970 2a swb 200tdi, atm I've done a ground up rebuild with re-built axles inc std 10" brakes, don't wan't to go the 11" front brake upgrade as I've used them before on another project and was never happy with them so on this one I will run it on the std brakes and as soon as I get everything in from Heystee and paddocks I will do the brake conversion in the winter months as I have a log burner in my garage to keep me warm

Yeah I think you would get a better feel if you used a Go pro or something which would let you see what everything is doing rather than standing up high over the truck and following it, something I mite start doing when I get mine but will see how son's does before then though
He has fitted an uprated servo now and sent the duff one to the shop he bought it from and awaiting what they say, he also ordered a load of stuff for it aswell which inc ally bumper's, steel wheels inc bead locker's and tyres and some other stuff which has all arrived except the wheels, anyway here are a couple of pic's with the bumpers fitted
Yes i still have the original one but its a 200 Def one as originally the engine was a Def engine but re-dressed as a Disco engine ( damaged timing case ) with a 300 turbo / manifold now fitted.
Would you happen to have the part number for the olive so i can buy one
