  1. You could possibly flip the axle, but you would also need to alter all suspension mounting points, bump stops etc, you could also change diff pumpkin position which is what I did when fitting Unimog 404 axles to my lightweight ( mog 404 axles thread )either way your looking at a decent amount of work Regards Stephen
  2. Not far away, still need to do all fluids, my good lady is away with the dogs for 3 days at the end of the month, looking to be MOT ready by the end of those days. Then some running around to see if all good Regards Stephen

  6. Said rubber cover and battery clamping device that will stop it moving, actual battery box only has around 3mm clearance all round, possibly made it a tad too tight I have to remove battery clamps off cables and push cables back through to get battery out, bit of an oversight. Not too onerous as I have to remove seat to get to battery anyway... Regards Stephen

  11. Le Touquet, great motorcycle beach race there in February ( I think ), bitterly bitterly cold could not even hammer tent pegs in the ground when I was there Its quite sobering to see all the war memorial sites, the names, the crosses etc. We always make a point of visiting when in the area to pay our respects Regards Stephen
  12. If you can get at it from behind, drill from the back and then knock the ezi-out out, then drill the bolt out leaving a thin skin behind which you should be able to collapse inwards with a sharp punch, you could also make a masonry drill slightly sharper, add a bit of oil and drill through the ezi-out, it will do it but slow and steady Regards Stephen
  13. Absolutely no thank you..... I'm definitely guilty of that because I added 2 core on at the front side and indicator lights to extend them, but I know where I'm at with it Regards Stephen
  14. Hmmmm why's that ?? running wires is hardly an indication of electrical competence.... Fault finding and relays quite frankly terrify me Regards Stephen
  15. A bit more electrical done this morning, all front light wires made or extended to take me to junction box just waiting for some more tesa tape so I can get those wires wrapped to make a front lighting loom also fitted oil pressure gauge to top it off my good lady has been making shortbread and fruit loaf so that is a good excuse to down tools, have a cuppa and sample said delights Regards Stephen
