    Jim, the Hybrid and Bob, do not do enough road miles to quantify !! In your case, you need a 2nd set of rims, and swap over for events,, the road noise alone would justify the cost of the rims !!!

    Nige,, thanks for that ! I think that is were a lot of the problems lie ,,, Lack of communication to the members , from the "inner sanctum " As for subs etc,, it would seam to be working fine as it is, with voluntary contributions

    Probably the best weekend i have had there, whilst helping out,, Think the competitors made it,, all got stuck in, help other's out, and entered into the full sprint of things,, Am sure Scott would have been well please

    Well, in a few weeks the forum will be 3 year old,, I know it has been mentioned a few times previously, But i for one would be interested in how the accounts are going,, yes i know the standard answer,, speak to TC and pop over and take a look sometime !! Is it time a set was made available, by e-mail for argument sake, to all members that requested a copy ??

    Les Early days !! If you lock this one, after only a few hours,, then it would be a "minimal percentage of the membership" think you will find it's a tad more that that !!!

    Just beat me to it Mr Watts,,, That's not the point tacr2man,, its the fact, that's its not just Range Rovers Sports etc,, its any vehicle (whether £500 or £50k) over aprox 250 grams, and as yet, newer then March 2001 IE Y reg !!! that sees more than a 100% increases !!

    It means the first year VED will cost you £ 750 !!! then £430 (at current rates) for the subsequent year !!

    But in all honestly,, did we really expect them to stick to the March 2006 date as a cut off date,, The sport goes from a current £210 to £455 in barley 18 months time Am sure if they could find a way of stuffing the pre March 01 vehicle's they would do it !!

    Sorry guys ,,, You make out, as though you did not expect this to happen, When they started to play with the grouping, 18 months ago, was only a mater of time, before they got jacked up Same with classing some hard top Defenders as commercial,, won't be long until they are the same rate as Station wagons !!
