  1. Welcome to the workings of the MSA A International Licence holder for over 20 years
  2. Unless they treat it as a race or rally licence,, then new applicants will have to take a one day BARS course at a school !!! aprox £200 just for the test !! Would guess until a MSA licence is required, a club membership card will suffice Have no problem with full MSA spec vehicles,, Just enjoy the sport, where vehicles are fairly free to do with what you like,,
  3. Don't like to say,, "I told you so" But !! Have been flamed, going back years on this subject,, But as soon as the MSA get involved,, get ready to see costs rise,, both vehicle prep, and event entry fees

  13. As already said !! Most of the time, i go the night before if at all possible!! Can see where you are coming from,, would make a more social event, before the serious bit starts !! Think its only the locals you have to convince ?? Can not really see it working at the Wellington site,, Not with "Pie & Pint" for a fiver, just down the road ?? Might work for the other sites ?? but can not see the numbers to make it viable Probably works for HW events,, being on a Saturday night, Sunday event,, don't have to get away from work in most cases
  14. Also a foundation licence holder Like Western, i could have sworn their is a topic on here the same as this one, Also to keep it relevant !!! Can anyone suggest a reasonable dual band aerial 70cms/2metres for the defender, lost mine somehow a few weeks back !!
  15. To add to that,, Don't think JST's is the standard Toughbook with built in GPS When i bought mine direct from Panasonic, i ordered one with the built in GPS,amongst other bits, but they had a cock up with the model numbers, so came without, They told me at the time, it was a fully internal unit, Did eventually get a refund for the lack off GPS !!!
