I'll vouch for that it's only when it's under water do we have to recover him.

Don't forget the 300tdi is about 4 inches further forward in the engine bay so anything that says it fits both is wrong. 45 has the non o ring type and a converter to fit the radiator.

There is a lr part spigot bush to fit a 200tdi into a v8 range rover classic. The part number is difficult to find as it was part of the retro fit kit sold by lr to fit 200s into range rovers.

There is something else to check, from what you have said, you have tried a few antennas and the results are similar but it was working before.
Is it possible that part of your re chassis work involved other changes? did you replace any lights with LED, have you fitted anything like a usb charger, some electrical accessories can create local noise which interferes with the radio reception. Things like power adapters for satnavs / phone chargers are all prime candidates.
Interestingly I discovered this at work this week. I wired up some led lights on a boat (24v and the boats not plugged in to the mains). The radio is a mains dab 25ft away. When you turn the lights on the radio goes quiet with some interference noises, turn the lights off the radio is fine again.

I think daan has polished stainless in place of the glass mirror.

It drove well, way under geared on those wheels. Brakes got better as they cleaned up and it stopped nice and straight. No rattles
. I may end up modding the dash as the gauges are a little hard to read.

Headlight adjusted.
Emissions ok.
Brakes work and even.
Need a new grommet for the fuel filler neck.
Need to remove the guide on the diff for the track bar as it rubs.
Other than that he said it was well built and passed it.
The other thing I spotted is the seat hits the seatbelt so need a stop in the runner.

No worries I suspect they would measure up the same as my 35's but thought I'd ask.
Mike

Doug when you get a chance can you put a tape measure over the width of those. That way I can compare yours to my 35's real world measurements. I may well keep the 35's if it drives ok with them.

Have a look at party tents and marques they can be picked up cheap and give good work space now the weather is warmer. Even one that only covers one car could work.

Paphos is lovely. The Adonis falls up the coast are worth the long drive up a gravel track take your swimming costume
(somewhere near the ship wreak).

I've got 255x85/16 on the 110 and 285x75/16 on 45 both around 33". It's the 15's that I'm interested in as I know the written measurement doesn't necessarily match with actual size. I'm keeping the mach 5's so hence the sizing I'm referring to. The 35's are 12.50 but they stick out of the arches a little. This makes me thing the 10.50's might be the way to go. The only fly in the ointment being I don't know what width the rims are.

Has anybody got pictures of 33x12.50/15 or 33x10.50/15 on vehicles. I'm considering dropping size on the ibex as 35" are not really required for my use. Comparison pics would be good to. Many thanks

Yes these

Ross the lights are nas size but have a flat face they can be mounted from the front (bumper) or from behind (the rear). They came from bolt on bits.
Dave your more than welcome to join me.

Another good episode. I would however point out you should grease both sides of a gasket before fitting as it helps it stick and seal better.

To be fair to LR, they didn't actually say they were doing anything epic yesterday other than adding a youtube video, run of the mill marketing stuff. It would have been one of the lamest vehicle launches ever if that's how they introduced the new 'Defender'..
With an incomplete and unstaffed factory, they aren't going to be in a position to do anything for months yet.
True but even as a celebration it was a bit lame. I mean it's 70 years!

Hoped for more.... sadly disappointed. They glossed over so much disco1 the vehicle that saved land rover barely a mention. New defender hell they didn't even remind us it's coming maybe.
