  1. Long weekend for me, as I took Friday off work. Friday saw the front axle back in Moglite, with all the 4-link stuff done. In between spending time with the kids etc. I made the mounts for MogLite's rear 4-link Didn't exactly rush, but there is about 4-5 hours work in those - just to wind up Nige, but alas only a combination of 5mm + 6mm plate. They'll go on the inside of the chassis rails, so you'll never get to see the quality again They are not /exactly/ the same, as one is clearanced for the auto box I'll be using trailing arm bushes on the inside and outside to keep as much of it simple and Land Rover as possible.
  2. PayPal is fine by me too. I like the Pirate system, You can be there for free. But you get Kudos/pictures if you "buy a star" ie contribute Vendors get to pay more, and then can pimp their stuff.
  3. Why don't people use 101's as the basis for a challenge vehicles ? Super strong axles, V8, PTO winch, good angles, big tyres. Truck cab it, and cage it and it should be good through the trees - well good enough, and with good visability. Low gearing, and you can fit ARB's. Weight is less than a Rangie I believe. Parabolics and disc brake conversion should see the job done. Or have I missed something
  4. Not a chance Trev. I've got the front 4-link 100% finished, now its on to the back. I'd like to get the rear, props and steering done by the end of the month. Lots of work to do after that.
  5. Looking good so far. When you are playing with the look and feel, bear in mind some of us use this forum in open plan offices. So keeping it pretty plain is good, this white/blue is pretty easy on the eyes too.
  6. Well it is Red Ibex here Thought I'd take this opportunity to have a change of name
