Hi,
I've got a leaking fuel tank, looks to be coming from the top somewhere as it only happens when I fill the truck right up.
Has anyone had the diesel tank off of a 200tdi 110? is it all done from underneath? any tips to make this go smoothly? should I change the filler neck while I am there.
Can any one give me the part number for the correct tank please.
Thanks Mark
Done now, Thanks I wasn't sure how much of the cross brace to unbolt (to get to the back of the B posts). It was, as I expected, a right pain to line up the bolts through the cross brace with the chassis brackets.
We've just returned from Scotland and had a good day driving the logging tracks in the Galloway national park, it is also a dark skies park so wild camping is good there.
There is also a nice beach just outside Dunbar where we have wild camped a couple of times.
So, having forked out over £100 for RTC 6065 a plastic bag has arrived with an assortment of fixings, trouble is mine were so badly rusted that some bits had disintegrated while others had to be cut off. I now have no real idea of how this lot is meant to fit together, does any one have a schematic please or can someone at least give me some pointers how it all goes?
Thanks Mark
Does any one have a part(s) number(s) for the d ring, bolt, bush spacer and tab washer which go through the rear floor on a 200tdi station wagon so that the seat belts can clip on.
Many thanks
Mark
Thanks everyone
I'm running a stock 200tdi, which I like but would like to spread the power band and have a bit more oomph on hills. I'm not in for swapping to a different type of engine but not above having an engine overhaul.
Does any one have experience of these on older engines?
I have a high mileage 200tdi, if I were to fit one should I have the engine rebuilt first to help with the extra strain?
Cold at night but we were really lucky with the weather during the day.
No I arranged it myself, looking at what people charge for organised tours perhaps I should get into the business LOL, although I can understand the need for local Knowledge and a native speaker if going to some far off hostile land!
Possibly Military signal red but always difficult to say from a computer screen but you could contact http://www.paintman.co.uk/product-category/paint/landrover-paint-reds/ 01777 710100.
I have found these to be very helpful and they sent me a swatch card with a bit of each red on to help identify the colour (mine is Masai red).
