  14. My old rangie gave me a right head ache cutting out for no reason, i put up with it for a few weeks, replaced every thing electrical, had the carbs off nearly every other day, then replaced them, still no joy. found out in the end it was the fuel filter in the tank, the fine gauze one, on the pick up pipe! Previous to me getting my hands on it, it too was sat around for a few years off the road! Well worth a look and only takes 10 mins!
  15. I did that a few months ago too, and has worked a treat! Few nuts and bolts, much cheaper than a new one!

  19. Teng are not that bad, and seem widely available now, but they insist on the crappy rough matt finnish on their sockets, which i think lets them down a bit. Ive got all sorts in my tool box from Signet, Palmera, (spannish snap on? so i was told by their rep) Mac, Britool, Bluepoint, All of which have never let me down. I was lucky enough (or unlucky ) to have been in the motor trade for 14yrs so had reps come in, But the man on the street seems stuck with the likes of Drapper or just cheap and nasty tat!
  20. Got mine too! went to T.H White agri dealer today, and for the same size bottle in a fancy package, they were asking £16
