  1. at the time the offer was f.o.c penny dropped an hour later, wire had ripped off the crank sensor was impressive though....you got to admit now all paid up for round 6......and so is boothy and saley is making an appearence should be a laugh ohhhhhh news flash aswel.....i shed some light on simon ****ty running td5....its now sweet as a nut apparently when he rang me tonight to let me no i was right damn td5 crank sensors , can anyone see a trend ?? dan, team 42

  3. it doesnt take a rocket scientist to fill a autobox, expecially after i rebuilt it. Gord mine ran fine at this weekends comp so i wouldnt worry just get a oil temp guage fitted to her Dan
  4. It was nice of matt not to warn me my ground anchor was dragging whilst going down there. Love the pic pitty it doesnt do the angle justice as both back wheels are about 2 ft away from the bank. Cracking event and was a change from the badlrc challenges. Will be at rd 6 and so will boothy, i might even have a different codriver in the form of a MrHt (barney) if my usual is in holiday. Dan

  6. Mine did that a while ago after working the box really hard on big hill, was also at a dodgey angle. I just put it down to the oil being a little too hot as soon as the oil temp dropped to around 170 f it was fine and gave no more hassle all weekend. That was wern duu aswel G Dan

  8. speak to dave at ashcroft i had a load of hassle with mine but just ended up making my own barbs in the lathe then shrinking them onto the old pipes and silver soldering them dan
  9. Team 40 something now has a cage Centrer winch Fuel tank And working auto box So nearly ready :-) Dan

  12. what pump do you need pal ? can bring one with me if you need, allways got 2/300 and td5 stuff well, winches are all up and running again, decided to crank up the lathe today and make my own hardware kit instead of buying one from gigglepin dan
  13. well im abit closer winches are built back up minus the brakes as i need to order bits from gigglepin tomorrow cab is off ready for the cage to be welded up i have a WORKING handbrake , well at least it was when i left it tonight and all the batterys are back in place oh, made a tyre guage thats bang on 36" and the tyres just, and i mean just go in it but they are tight on the guage, will they be ok for scruit ? yes ? ok cheers redrodant dan

  15. well you sound in the same boat as me, ive only got a roll cage that is tacked together my fuel tank is currently a bucket hanging from the steering wheel whilst my new one is made all 3 winches are in bits no cooling what so ever sump is still off the auto box no oil cooler to the auto box no interior or dash on the plus point i sorted the lockers out today and got the wings bolted and welded back on does that class as progress dan

  18. no problems as mines a td5 to....sorry td4 for boothy carl hurst and saley ( long story ) anyway have you got pleant of rubber matts for soft landings for slight resting moments .

  21. has any one competed with 37" boggers yet as mine measure up at a smidge under 36 inch tall, however there sidewall size is bigger. would i be able to compete as id like to come along to holymoorside as its a right s*** hole but i love it oh need motivation to get the landy built back up aswel dan

  23. my friend has re-con box's from awtrans. his items are spot on, however he only replaces whats required but fits all new bearings from what i was told hope that helps dan
  24. funny you should say that, i was going to ask that question mines a early 2 track ill pinch a pedal of my comp motor and see what happens cheers dan
