  1. Jim, I can do a direct transfer if you let me have your bank details OR it wil be cash on Saturday. I no longer do Paypal Let me know
  2. The older bloke is a bit on the 'Local Shop for Local Welders' side The other bloke is ok I was reading up about gasless mig on the 'web the other night. Seeing as I have a roll of wire and the easy ability to swap polarity I thought I might just give it a go. It's a bit like kinky sex - how do you know what it's like unless you try it. Of course you can always ask Moglite about the kinky sex bit but I don't know if he has tried gasless mig
  3. James - don't forget that 200Tdi airbox dooferthingy.. Tah
  4. Yes, yes and yes but it will need to be a big portion We will be at the rendezvous at 07.30 as will young Matt...
  5. James, put me and small stuff down for 1x Sausage and chips and 1x snake and pygmy pie and chips please.
  6. Sorry Jim but you asked It's too cluttered - too much stuff to look at it has to be simple to advertise and be remembered Colour is wrong. Black is carp for working in, carp for socialising in and looks carp. Needs to be black on white, blue on white, red on blue, yellow on blue or yellow on black Huge flying spanners logo - google search takes care of the website X eng logo on the sleeve and a tiny ickle wee double x enge logocoupled to HFS logo on the breast. Having said that I would wear a t shirt with a dog turd on it if it helped the HFS Massive Edited to add: Google flying spanners - first hit, google Xeng - first hit
  7. What you are looking at is a another version of what is sold as a champion C12N and C15N. Not cheap chinese cr*p but not the best chinese winches. Sloooooooow but very very powerful. Compare prices with Champion. Also check out the T-max 9.5 at Exeter 4x4 store
  8. Top geezer that Simon bloke. However I agree with Les... Any chance any of the other businesses on here could help out - make it like a MRFC shirt but cooler.
  9. You know me Chris, if it works well and is VFM, plug it!
  10. My boss is a decent chap, when I broke my new second hand welder doing some bits and bobs for work, he paid for a new welder! Bless! So, as I don't need a hoofing gert mig for what I do, I pootled down to Wellington Welding Supplies in Avonmouth and bout a ludicrously cheap Hobart 140 Gas/Gasless. Reasonable duty cycle, good for exhausts/bodywork/short runs of reasonable thickness blah blah. I spoke to the God that is Jezmond about this whole gasless thing and he assured me that it is a sin beyond redemption so five minutes to convert the 140 to gas - I have Argon, Argon/C02 and C02 for various things. Saturday was a quiet relaxing day - small jobs etc. Bit of winch fixing on the morning but just chores on the pm. So I thought I would try out the new mig. First things first. Got the Ali wire out and patched the lawn mower deck! Corker. Lovely job and sooooo easy to use. Then I thought I would knock up an exhaust for the 100" - well the back half - as it has been missing for a while... I ended up sticking things together in the garage just for the pleasure. Got a bit carried away in the end and have started making a scarecrow out of scrap.... So for less than 200notes, Hobart 140, nice bit of kit, ideal for those of you, who like me, are secure in just welding normal stuff!
  11. EP9 and one of Uncle Daves 'Bikini' mounts specially built for the discerning series owner
  12. That was from Ecce Romanus Volume 1
  13. Quality mate, sheer quality Should have popped down to ChezHobbit and I would have fixed it for you or at least lent you a nice welder... I had an 8274 in bits this morning (belongs to a local hunt) could have done a quick swap...
  14. If you grab a set of early SJ410 rims (with the drum brake adjuster hole in the rim front and rear) they were designed to go on either way so will give you Large offset Also late leafer Fourtrack eight spokes will fit
  15. The name gives it away - SuperPro http://www.superpro.eu.com/
  16. In normal use - non comp it's lifetime, in comp three years and that includes Ladoga
  17. That man wins the goldfish Just ring Richard Ok so they are expensive BUT they are cheap after the third time you have replaced your polybushes
  18. I fitted SuperPro bushes to my RRC and three years later they are still fine - it's that lifetime warrantee I suspect
  19. Why? I posted that in all innocence...
  20. Jim, You could sell all those old bits of RR project you have stockpiled and then donate the monies raised. Tim was after that old LS1 you had - might even give you 200quid for a good cause. JST wanted that old yank gearbox to weigh in so he might go for 50quid. I will give you 100quid for that crappy old pair of axles you had under that scrap RRC - you know the portal ones. You should be able to get at least a ton for the other bits and bobs you have around.... *Digs trench, fills sandbags, crams on hard hat and kisses dirt!*
  21. Black on white is not always the cheapest - when I used to get T shirts made up by Muddyweb for the Unusual Suspects, I just used to get what Joanne had a glut of Red on blue was the norm! The more raised the better Jez wil do. Obviously failure is not an option
  22. Thats what happens when you don't fit SuperPro
  23. In all seriousness I would like to have a go at morris dancing. Living on the 'green we get to watch the local morris men most weekends throughout the summer and it looks like a laugh. Drink loads of beer and hit each other with sticks - cool
