Obviously the Speedo is not MOTable as mine hasn't worked on COW for some time......... so I took it apart and its the cable to G/Box......what a mess, its chewed up the input, snaped it off and caught some of the outer cable also. 2 bluddy hours it took to get it out! New one on order Then again ints a 2.5 Diesel, why would I need a speedo

Yep at the end at an RAF air base (chasing a Valiant V bomber, i think!) our hero Rod Taylor was in the back of an RAF series 1 with screen down chasing the plane. Went out for a Walk and found that the byway in Amesbury (ref SU159409 to 167396) is closed for 3 months due to Wessex Archaeology digging big holes. This Byway may be shut for up to 18 month according to the notice either end of the byway. As the Amesbury Archer was found in this ares (http://www.wessexarch.co.uk/projects/amesbury/archer.html) this may be closed a while if they find anything!

Im in the process of converting my V8 to Escort Alternator (70 amp) and have found that the 1.8 R reg Escort casing has both lugs for fitment to either side (least mine did) and they are the same casing as the 90 amp units.

Wot like mine If the company has no morals or bad customer service etc then they need taking down a peg........... but its no good venting on here unless you approch the company in question and tell them of the problem and give them the chance to deal with it before venting here Then again good servive should also be appladed

EFI cylinder heads have cut outs for the injectors, best to try and find a complete 3.5 EFi for direct replacement.
