  2. And there is no point putting a new seal on if the stub axle is shagged! the seal land needs to be smooth
  3. What size is the thread of the breather hole? I may be able to acquire one from work
  4. Chris W and I built up the swivels, so they just need bolting on once the axle is in place. Drop the diff in, pop the axle on, put the swivels on and rebuild the brakes
  5. I have the Gwyn Lewis GKN ones and they are superb. Personally I couldn't justify the BM cost.
  6. There isnt normally a bearing at the outside as well. My guess would be loose flange or a bit of carp in there being swung about.
  7. Today is the first Tuesday of the month so time for our monthly meet. 7:30 at the GAS sports and social Club, next door to Wickes in Swindon. I will be going, who else will be there? We meet up for a chat and a drink and usually plan a greenlaning day for the following sunday Anyone welcome.

  16. LT77 takes ATF. The axles and transfer box take EP90 gear oil

I will come over . Next time Jason, we want a warm, dry workshop with a lift or we will alllllll go on strike . That oil filter was a right $*(%& @*$& to undo but it finally went! I will never buy a 10p Td5 EVER. Long extensions too Diablo!

  20. Excellent . Now to make sure the CV spacer is on before the CV is pushed onto the shaft
  21. Just a thought Jason, have you got the little CV retaining clips? I forgot mine initially and had to go get them .
