  12. Don't worry...I thought the same A H reg would have a 200TDi.
  13. Land Rovers usually fix themselves. It's a fact Even James May in one of his books said it
  14. Trailing arms..IIRC Disco ones are hollow and Classic ones are solid.....
  15. I can vouch for this one...used to be my daily commute from Petersfield to Southampton. Never let me down. I put a new bonnet on it and current owner has done the rear body crossmember and lower tailgate. Lots of other work done. If I had the room, I'd probably buy it back Soft Dash Personally, they are nicer inside but definitely rot at a quicker rate than older ones
  16. Dan Excellent, see you then. Don't worry about non scratchy lanes too much...he will probably not come. Will update nearer the time on the number of motors...probably 2 (who don't mind scratches ). Cheers Rob Bulford sounds like a plan for May or June
  17. Hi Dan 18th is good for me Bustard Inn @ 9am?? Or earlier if you want to get a full day in... What areas/lanes had you in mind? A mate might come in his 'shiny' P38 so scenic and non damaging only please or he'll kill me Waddya reckon? Cheers Rob

  19. Any idea if this will affect BOATs???? SDNP Cheers Rob
  20. I'll post some dates soon for Dan to confirm which one is good for him to guide us..... Work mate is up for it too in his 90 I'll be in the Classic once I've finished hand waxoyling it
  21. Salt water will rot your motor in super fast accelerated time I grew up on Angelsey and we bought an old 80" that was used for boat launching. The chassis went to dust when we stripped it As for legal stuff, not sure but reckon its a no no...
  22. Dan Brilliant stuff. I look at the diary and let you know. Maybe not a Bank Holiday though.... Cheers Rob
  23. Went to the 'Plain this weekend for a spot of clay shooting nr Shrewton. What a fantastic place...!!! Anybody familiar to the area that would like to show us some of the "best of the bunch" lanes sometime? Preference is for 'scenic and long' rather than up to bonnet stuff....bored of that Easier to be shown around than get it wrong! I'm sure we can get a small group together quite easily.......... Meet at the Bustard Inn seems "the norm" Cheers Rob
