The body is coming off mine in order to fit a nw space frame to the chassis, so has anyone got any good tips that i should know? Need to find somewhere to do the project as well.........doh!

basicly do you need to have a front bumper and a windscreen to be legal............ just looking at possibly doing a build and being able to keep on the road legaly? the chassis is not being touched, apart from adding a cage/space frame, engine gbox and axles still all the originals.

got a P reg 300tdi disco XS which when it rains, soaks the front passenger footwell..... this in when stationary. ive tried standidng with the hose at the windscreen and sun roof but cant find where its coming from. anyone else had this on theirs?

corroded fusable links......... well that was mine.

33s and 35s you need to cut it up quite a bit........ im only on 33s with 2" lift, and its ok. as its your daily drive you'll probably need to re-gear it....... certainly if you fit 35s..... as fuel consumption goes up as the RRC will be over geared, so that will be another expense you need to allow for.

have they gone under? been trying to ring them for some +1" HD springs for a friend fourtrak, but they dont answer. any ideas where to get them from....... tried searching the net but to no avail......

ive got an X9 winch and basicly i cant find anywhere nice for the soleniod pack to go on the RRC as its huge, so are there small ones that i could fit elsewhere? basicly tell me what to buy........ gonna put the winch control inside some how and do away with the hand controller.

i cut a hole in my boot floor....... makes it much easier. just pop rivet in back with a couple of pieces of flat steel

just strange that its started from no where.

something has started banging suddenly under the RRC......... any slight pot ho;le make it sound awful, as if something is about to drop off. nothing is loose that i can find, but i was on the side of the road, anyway nursed it home...... i think it may be the self leveling damper........ can the whole lot be ditched, or does it have to have one?

anyway the thread is about land rover not my employment issues........ so lets get it back on track. The fact is no one is buying them at the moment....... especialy in the US..... its not just Britain in a mess, its others too.
