  4. Anyone know which terminals are input and which are output? Now if I was designing a circuit with one set blade, and the other socket, I would have the input as the blades (pins) and the outputs Sockets, that way if the input wire socket came off it could not short due to the insulation over the contact. Without breaking out a powersupply, multimeter and possibly blowing the ickle device up by routing current through it backwards, would anyone like to agree with my theory

There's a sealer we use in the aircraft industry called PRC, also called gorilla snot by those on the hanger floor, seals fuel tanks and anything that you don't want a liquid getting past, not sure of the part number at present but if you could get it privately that would stop any fluids getting in Sea King helicopters also around the engine bay electrics use ordinary silicon grease shufted into and around the connectors, never seen any corrosion problems or other failings on these connectors due to this process

  10. Lets see whats on ebay: 10Amp 24->12 20Amp 24-12 6Amp 8Amp Another option is to look into Army surplus or truck part suppliers, ministry uses 28/24V and trucks use 24V so they may have better prices or range of items
