Also known as UAV's (Unmanned Airbourne Vehicles)
THe USA have been using them to fire off LASER guided bombs and Mavericks against targets in Afghanistan IIRC (think there are still issues on the legalality of engaging an enemy with such tactics) and the UK uses the Galileo Avionica Mirach 100/5 UAV as a target drone, trials platform and other "active" missions which I can't discuss

A bit of LASER guided annilation for you sir?:
A lot of it depends on what you intend to do, aluminium work is not so strenuos on the tooling, while stainless steel can be a biatch, I'd love a Colchester Student or something slightly bigger, but they go for silly money now so my modellers lathe will have to be fixed and pushed into service again
Nothing girly about me hair, or did you go back into the closet when you had your's cut

Then they feel sorry for Mike

ok, apologese for the 13 picture long post in L2B, anyhoo.....
I posted the first four up, no problem, then I posted up the next four, and the post merges into the original post, anyhoo I conclude I must have pressed the quote or edit button and do the next four, it happens again!!!!!
So, why does it do that?
walked straight into that one it goes with the rest of the Series transfer case, sump gasket and oil filter, frame parts for the classic bike amongst other bits
my boss is in slow time making a manifold plate, 45 degree pipe and flange for the SU carb to go on his 2.25 88 SIII, think he's gone all posh with stainless steel
funnily enough I did finally resort to a lump of wood and a 2 1/4lb lump hammer to persuade them on after drilling and reaming
It then went further down hill when I found out that the wiper arms and wiper blades supplied by a well known spares dealership did not fit together, even though they came in the same parcel from them phone call time......
When I was a weeeee two, I learnt a major lesson in life, in fact during my MoD apprenticeship it was further drummed into me about such things, in fact, that be.....
ROUND PEGS DO NOT GO IN SQUARE HOLES
I do wonder some times I take it this isn't some change-over to Defender where the output shaft maybe square or earlier Series are such, it for sure won't fit my 1979 SIII until I run a drill down it.
