Disco-Ron Posted December 9, 2010 Share Posted December 9, 2010 You can buy black gutter sealant, from the likes of b&q,..... i would sue that, as i suspect it'll stay slightly flexible, i wouldn;t use anything that will go hard, cos it'll end up brittle aswell!! Retroanaconda Posted December 9, 2010 Share Posted December 9, 2010 The gutter to roof join can leak, mine did until I sealed it up with silicon. It seeps through the gaps between the gutter panel and the folded roof panel, which are spot-welded together and then some kind of sealer applied to the outside. I used Sika on top of Halfords White spray can paint I'd used on my roof, to stick a solar panel on, and it ate all the way through it down to the undercoat and the panel fell off!
