I ordered and have just fitted BTP2275 to my 1997 300 Tdi (VA*****) - Did not realise until noticed the other day there was part number PCC500170 It all fits and looks identical to my old one that we removed. Northwards Posted July 8, 2021 Share Posted July 8, 2021 I was lucky to catch mine when it got really ropey, but before it burst. I took it to a local place and on inspection they said they could get an extra layer of fins in there, using the original tanks. 4 layer matrix instead of 3. As I was getting my engine tweaked (300Tdi) I thought that would be a sensible option. Just mentioning it in case it might be a thought for anyone else. I know the 300s aren't famous for running too hot, but I now have a full width intercooler in front of the rad, so it should cancel out any warming or lack of cooling from that.
