cackshifter
Well done, it can be really disheartening when something like that happens, but you pushed through.
Popular Post monkie
Well, it's all sorted so I took it on a test drive today. Wow, it's a massive difference, quite amazing. I am leaving clouds of black smoke so I do want to back off the smoke adjustment. But other than booking it in for an Mot, I'm finally back on the road with a 200tdi and stumpy gear box.

monkie
Yes it has been a roller coaster of a journey that went from exciting to frustrating, aggravating, rewarding. Thank you for all the support and help from all those who commented and made suggestions and came up with ideas. I have noticed that it is quieter taking up drive. My old LT77 was starting to get noisey and clunk.
