Tim Kirkus
Hi there. I can't start my 1983 series 3. She has clean fuel and plugs, a new fuel pump and she turns over but doesn't catch. There are also occasional backfires. I realise the possibilities are many but as an inexperienced mechanic, any advice would be brilliant. steve b
Are the plug leads on the correct plugs ? Firing order 1342. Did it run before the work ? Steve

Tim Kirkus
Thanks guys. Disconnected the air cleaner and she started so there's obviously an issue with the filter. Cheers.
