simonr
I need to find a decent repairer of soft-tops in the south east to fix the roof on my SV90. Yesterday the weather was so cold that when I opened the rear flap, the plastic window broke! It could do with a complete set of windows & some zips. I used one of the companies who go to billing (cant remember which though) and the service/quality was shabby. They ignored my instructions and just did their own thing. TIA Si
GBMUD
Please someone, we have to drive from Horsham to Wellington to Donnington and back to Horsham next week and I do not want to be cold all that way! Chris
Guest WALFY
Si I know it's not SE but do Exmoor Trim do a mail order service?
Superpants
How about Oxted Trimming- suprisingly enough in Oxted ;o) http://www.oxted-trimming.co.uk/ We have used them for one offs or short runs at work and found them very proffessional. Not sure if they are used to working on landies but probably worth a try.
simonr
Neither Exmoor, nor Oxted want to have anything to do with repairing an old hood "They damage the machines you know". Tried undercover-covers, but they are not answering the phone and the web site looks a bit un-loved. Any other options? Si
LandyManLuke
Marine sail-makers/canvas people etc will do what you want them to, they spend all day making spray-hoods, cockpit covers, sail covers etc but a soft top seems pretty much the same thing in essence. Probably no-one local that you can drop it in to though?....
pugwash
my seamstress could make you one probably- especially if you supplied the parts! we had a tilt custom made for that little daihatsu sardine can pickup that people have see me driving around in. it's very good IMO. not a lot of help to you right away but if you sent me the bits then i could at least get it ready for saturday morning for the event- at least then you would only be going one way! nas90
http://www.monsoon4x4.co.uk/Contact_Us.htm Is the place to go, although they have mostly made / repaired Japanese products simply because LR do not make soft-tops for UK market (not talking about rag top military in case I offend)
