Les Henson
I have one, but it has the flywheel and housing missing. I have a TD flywheel housing and flywheel - anyone know if they will fit and still attach to an LT77 Box? Thanks. Les.
tuko
Absolutely no idea Les. But with all the talk with 300Tdi's as of late, is this the new trend with motor transplants into Series Land Rovers ??? Todd.
Les Henson
I have no plans at present to fit it in catflap Todd. Just a very cheap engine (£50), so I bought it (well I bought it a few months ago after being told it was a 200TDi, but never actually saw it). simonr
My guess would be that the housing would fit with a bit of hole adjustment but the flywheel would need more major surgery. You should be able to get an old flywheel from someone who has done an auto conversion though. Si

Mark
Might be worth asking turbocharger if he still has some of those bits left over from his auto conversion? they were floating about in the back of his 90....
Turbocharger
They were, and I advertised them for £cheap but no takers so I threw them out (and washed the back of the car) before moving house. This is why I never throw anything away normally. Anyone want a clutch pedal assembly?

I have a TD flywheel housing and flywheel - anyone know if they will fit and still attach to an LT77 Box?Thanks. Les. Speaking from experience both flywheel and housing fit straight on. Ask user rock_on_skeeter on here, its the exact setup he has in his 90 The 300 flywheel housing has a cut out for a plate that retains the crank oil seal, whereas the TD/200tdi uses the flywheel housing itself. If you use the TD housing then you can butcher it to suit the plate, or leave it and use a TD style crank seal. The 300 one is better IMHO
will_warne
I've got a 300 tdi backplate (manual) and a flywheel (either 300 tdi or 2.8 tgv) kicking about if you want them Les. Just make me an offer!
Les Henson
Thanks Will. I might have got these items sorted out - thanks to Diesel Jim. I'll contact you if I need either one. Les.

Bull Bar Cowboy
I can understand why this was cheap ................... it has 4 cylinders missing as well as the flywheel .............. you were ripped off Les..... Ian
Turbocharger
No, it's a normal unsprung not over-centre press-it-yourself clutch.
