110 fuel tanks for efi

The 110 V8 petrol tank (believe it also applies to other models) is fine. The HP pump from Range Rover fits, but I have heard that some people extend the length of it a bit. When I measured the one I got it was the same as the original carb pump so just dropped it in and works well into red on fuel guage.

The tank has a main filler tube with adjacent smaller diameter breather tube on the rear RHS and there is a small diameter return tube at the front of the RHS. The hole for the pump is in the top (if that makes sense).

I do have my original (I replaced with galv) for £10 if you want it. No leaks, but does have some rust around seams.

Similar to Coastcard....

Same fuel tank in the 110 from when it was on carbs. Replaced fuel pump with the one from the RRC donor when the EFi went in... Same pump length overall but longer internal pump resevoir was longer. Picks up from the bottom of the tank no problems.

.... but the whining gets on your nerves after an hour or two, :D

I suggest leaving the wife at home....I do ;)

I can confirm the same as above - existing tank with HP pump works. There was a small amount of depth adjustment on the pump i bought - by loosening a screw & sliding the bracket a little.

I bought the HP pump on ebay from one of the uk suppliers.
