upnover4x4
What do you mean by too widely spaced? The width of the rim or the stud pattern?
crazyfarmerboy
if i were you i would try and find some narrow good looking alloys. i have not seen any but all these wide one's skid more easily in rainy conditions. i used to have some but i do not like them as they have a tendancy to skid. i think some of the tubeless presseed stell one's can look good in black. cheers
q-rover
You could try looking for 18" alloys and some 33" boots.
Goober
hey, check ebay. search for defender and click land rover in the sub catagory and then search in both car parts and wheels and tyres for "alloys" and then "wheels". Theres a guy selling mach 5 rims for £135 i think each. check out ebay they have some good stuff. You could also pick some tyres up too. hope this helped
SteveG
I assume you want them in chrome too?
110_USA
We have a name for those in the US, "n***** wheels."
smo
What do you mean by too widely spaced? The width of the rim or the stud pattern? HE said too widely spread - i think by this he means too common, rather than anything to do with spacing - but i could be wrong! Your best bet is to look through the usual comics (LRO, LRE, LRW etc) and breowse the adverts as many of the bigger sellers picture the tyres on "special" rims they also sell. henry-john
HE said too widely spread - i think by this he means too common, rather than anything to do with spacing - but i could be wrong! This is what I mean, they are to common, Especially the ZU rhims, nice for offroading but I hate 'm.... That's why i! purchased over 20 LR vogue rhims to refurbish and put all my rires on. They still are the nicest LR-Rhims. But something for a 36" and bigger tyre, still looking for something nice. (Been looking into the rockmonster beadlock rhim's tough but coast about 500£ a piece!!!) Kind regards and many thanks!
SteveG
you'll have more luck looking for rims not rhims. ;)
headhunter
you'll have more luck looking for rims not rhims. ;) Or even 'whims' Steve! John
henry-john
you'll have more luck looking for rims not rhims. ;) I'm sorry,my english isn't that good. Still looking for something else... Since vogue's aren't ideal with their 7" withd for fitting over 33" tyres.... But i'm still going to refurbish my 25 vogue's HJ
SteveG
If you want these type of alloys with wide rims then best place is US as there is lots of choice. You won't find any LR stud pattern, but plenty in Toyota, Jeep etc and then you can buy adapters from Rakeway to fit them to your LR. Or other way is to fit some Toyota or Dana axles
