Ibex94
Hi Looking for another bit of help. I'm looking to graft my 200Tdi engine loom onto the 300Tdi bulhead loom I'm using in the IBEX . So I have a couple of questions: Can I get a 300Tdi engine loom connector from LR spares dept, they don't seem to want to know and Durite don't do the large multipin connectors, if so can you help with a part code? Would it be easier to get a 300Tdi loom for an early engine without EGR? Many thanks Rob
western
only way to get the loom connector is to cut it off a 300tdi engine loom, would be much easier to source a 300tdi no egr loom from LR or autosparks. here
Alan Broadbent
I can thoroughly recommend Autosparks - used them many times. Alan
FridgeFreezer
Got a piccy of it? Could be a standard connector from somewhere.
DaveSIIA
Given the simplicity of the Tdi engine loom, would it not be easy to pick up the complete assembly from a 300Tdi breaker and do a swap? Probably quicker than making a good job of crimping pins on wires and correctly assembling the plug.

Thanks, unfortunately every breaker I've tried wants to sell the loom with the engine its attached to - some people have no sense of adventure. RichardAllen
I got lots of help recently from a chap in the spares dept at the local LR dealership who correctly informed me that a fuel gauge connector I needed for a Defender modification was the same as a rear bumper light connector on an early Freelander. The Freelander breaker would not even take any money for my connector + bit of loom. One up for main dealers in my book. I should have added, I also got loads of help and a connector from people off here, just a shame it was not the right one.

There are a couple on everyone's favourite auction site. Alternatively, have you tried speaking with Vehicle Wiring Products?
