Steve King
My wife baked and iced the cake and suggested that I might like to decorate it it with a Land Rover... OK it won't win any prizes, but it does sort of resemble my hard top!

Turbocharger
I had a rocking LR birthday cake made by Mrs TroddenMasses, but the pics are on his web space and I can't get access from the other side of the world (I think I'd have to put my password in upside down or something). Troddenmasses
Here it is: Unfortunately, all of the 'mud' and lots of the inside was made with chocolate buttercream. To start with it was delicious, then went through slightly sickly, to seeing stars in front of your eyes and twitching slightly. In the end, about half of it went to giving the birds in Bath terrible indigestion. The detail is incredible, though. She has even managed to match the curves in the body panels, and 'homemade' look to the snorkel...
Turbocharger
^^^ that's the one I can still taste it now. In fact, I still have some since it was too heavy to lift and now even the ants and woodlice have started returning it because they're too full. It was goooood at the beginning though

Steve King
Wow there are some really professional ones there! Fortunately my wife is better at baking cakes than I am at decorating them! It is a really excellent rich fruit cake that had a few shots of brandy added! Next year we'll try to make an improved version!
