white90
Pics show new line protectors and new lines to avoid ripping off the copper ones yet again.
bishbosh
Impressive - they are very snug to the calliper aren't they! Almost makes the protectors unnecessary.
white90
I have ordered some P clips to fix them rather than cable ties (cidermans suggestion) they are tucked well out of the way plus the metal support in there to gives a bit more protection. They must be better than the original lines of which I have had around 4 sets. the lines have a plastic coating also over the stainless. they are amazing value for money really. BTW I have no association with the supplier and paid in full for the items used.
Retroanaconda
Looks like a tidy solution. What will you fix the P-clips to?
Les Henson
I was going to comment on the cable ties - the weak link. They are only plastic and will therefore be vulnerable to breaking easily. The pipes will then sag down - due to the flexible nature of them, and therefore be more likeley to be damaged. P-clips would solve this of course. Wouldn't the pipes be even safer if they were right on top of the axle tube Tony? Les.
white90
Les on top the get dragged off by muck going over the axle tube. the P clips will fix to tabs I will weld along the tub next week.
white90
To Finish I welded some tabs on the axle case and used some P clips to retain the new lines.
dirtydiesel
I've found jubilee clip good for securing them as well
