Maverik
Ok i thought I was ok with IT stuff but now I'm out my depth, downloaded the CD - files, now how do I put them on a disc? I burnt them to one? but then what? I can't get the file to open. any advice would be appreciated. mav
Aragorn
The files will constitute a CD image, probably named ISO or BIN? You need to burn the image to the CD, rather than just placing the image file on the CD, if that makes sense! Most CD burning software will have an option somewhere to do that. Alternatively, you can create a virtual CDrom drive, and "mount" the file inside there. Grab a copy of PowerISO, and use it to mount the image as a Virtual drive. Gromit
Grab a copy of PowerISO, and use it to mount the image as a Virtual drive. Or you can use microsoft's lightweight (and free) Virtual CD to mount the ISO and have it appear as a new drive on your machine. You can then run the insall from there. Philip Tonkin
Not if it is used for educational purposes. So is it OK to rebuild a Defender with the vin plates of a Series 2 as long as you only use it at home or would you lot all grass up to the DVLA? Double standards.
