If you are sure it’s apt he hot air trapped under bonnet, can you not just remove the bonnet for the heavy off-roading?  Even as a single trial, it’d give some indication whether you’re Barkering up the right or wrong tree.

Well, if that proved the problem, then the cure is to drive without the bonnet or to increase the ventilation through it.  Fans aren’t going to work.  You need more vents.

In your position, I’d remove the engine driven fan and the two pushers - they are just adding to engine load with marginal cooling effect at best and I’d have the manifolds and down pipes ceramic coated - that will have a significant impact.  Then I’d remove the cab heater trunking and would fit more open grilles to the wing tops (the standard plastic grilles are too fine and closed), and quite possibly add more vents to the wing tops as well as to the bonnet.  It might not be pretty, but that sort of passive system is going to be far more beneficial than energy consuming fans trying to push air through excessively narrow restrictions.

It's what I suggested ages back.

I did that a long while back ….and it proved the issue was that heat couldn’t get out !….

So proves that strapping more and more fans to the front isn't fixing it... it's just a plaster to stop the bleeding on a broken arm with a bone sticking out.

Difficult getting heat out, then minimising what goes in must be you first port of call surely? So I'd be going straight to ceramic coating IMO. If you haven't got anyone local and want to use Zircotec in Abingdon, shout if I can help at all. They're only 10mins or so from work and just off my route to/from work.

Well, ......Actually it is cured / sorted, - The fans + EWP150 + Louvres all etc work perfectly fine,

Only when its really really pushed super f hard in really really tyres deep goo do they all kick in ..........and then the top 2 fans come on only for a very short while............

These JED 5.1s / 2s and 3s in the high end specs are renowned to be pigs to keep cool and under control, mine is a solution, others have done other solutions be it rear mounted etc - again often with multiple fans etc - easier on a comp racer tho with speed open underneath and fast air flow, but still can be pigs

This was more of an 'update' post on a solution of how sorted vs a  'how do I post'
