NicTheOrange90
Sold a set of custom jump leads and anderson connectors via Messrs Fleabay, and buyer complains about a minor scratch on an unused connector, so full refund given. No package turns up, courier says no packagae to collect, buyer says he left it out... Im £80 down and apparently the local PCSO does not think a crime has been committed (must have a different theft act in L Major).. So if you see any similar being offered, please PM me.. western
can't be a LR owner if he's complianed about a silly little scratch. I'll keep a look out.
Smego
In law if the buyer, "left it out" the responsibility of the goods stays with him until passed to another so he is still responsible.

Night Train
Can you file a dispute on the basis the buyer did not return the goods to the courier after the refund was issued?
NicTheOrange90
I will look to see what EBay has to say, but I dont think they will do much. The buyer was after a cheeky refund, and I was not going to give one so said Id have them back, I am not inferring anything re the buyer, I have to take him at his word as he sas he lef them out. Lets see what PayPal says...
lansalot
Buyers fault. If he didn't hand them over to the courier, then I'd be blaming him.
Bowie69
A mate went through all this, Paypal went his way in the end as the user did not provide a tracking number to Paypal within 7 days.... so they sent my mate back his cash, which was nice I'd talk to paypal about it.... they are surprisingly good tbh. M&S
Who leaves things out for the courier I'd blame the buyer and wouldn't refund! Sounds like they are trying it on and have got themselves a nice set of leads for free
Exmoor Beast
We have had disputes settled by Paypal, I'd recommend contacting them. Why should you lose out because some muppet couldn't get his arse in gear to arrange collection by the courier? Will
Range Rover Blues
Agreed, without a signature there is no proof of anything and it's not like they were faulty. Perhaps this is why most flea-bay sellers don't provide a courier for the returns, so the responsibility is on the buyer to arrange postage. (well done to you BTW for doing it properly ).
